Cesky Sternberk
Cesky Sternberk
My Home, My Castle – Gothic Castle Cesky Sternberk, proudly towering on a high cliff above the River Sázava, is one of the oldest noble castles in the country. It was built in 1241 by Zdeslav z Divišovců, and his descendants still occupy the castle today. The tour takes visitors through fifteen rooms richly endowed with period furniture, pictures, and family collections. The collection of copperplate engravings from the time of the Thirty Years War and a set of silver miniatures from the 17th century deserve a special mention.
The castle Cesky Sternberk is a great target for a Tailor-made Tour.
