Ceske Budejovice

Ceske BudejoviceCeske Budejovice in South Bohemia is also known as Budweis - the name in German, used in the 10th century. Ceske Budejovice is famous for its Renaissance and Baroque buildings, for the biggest square in the Czech republic (and one of the most beautiful ones in this country) and for its local beer: Budvar. This local beer, also known as Budweiser, inspired the name of the American Beer Budweiser, but they taste completely different. Much better the Czech one, believe us.
