Ruins of a 13th century castle in Beroun district belonging to the nobility, in the 1330s it became royal property. It underwent significant reconstruction under Vaclav IV. After a fire in 1532 the castle became abandoned. The mighty circular refuge tower at the highest point is surrounded by a bailey adjacent to the remnants of the palace. The smaller circular tower was protecting the access to the settlement round the castle which was transformed into the lower castle under Vaclav IV. The Large Tower offers an excellent view.
Zebrak is a great target for a Tailor-made Tour.
