(Jindrichuv Hradec district), originally a Romanesque royal castle dating from the early 13th century. From the mid- 13th century to the second half of the 14th century it was in the hands of the House of Vitek with a silver rose in their coat-of-arms. For the next 200 years it belonged to the family of Krajir. The castle was rebuilt in Late Gothic, later adapted in Renaissance style. After the fire in 1771 it lost its importance and fell into disrepair.
Landstein is a great target for a Tailor-made Tour.
