Chateaus and castles in Czech Republic
During the rich history of Czech Republic hundreds of castles and chateaus were built by kings and nobles, some of them were destroyed in wars, some of them rebuilt in later centuries, some of them were left and have become ruins, some of them have remained in their original condition till our days. But all of them are worth seeing, from medieval castles to baroque chateaus.

- Rozmberk Castle – A mid- 13th century castle reconstructed in Romantic Gothic style. Numerous interiors with the Knights hall with a panel ceiling and wall paintings, a picture gallery, arms and recently established hangman's house.
- Strekov Castle – Beautiful Gothic castle ruin with a very rich history.
- Vranov – Originally royal castle from 11th century rebuilt in later to a baroque chateau.
- Vyssi Brod - Cistercian Monastery – Gem of Czech Gothic architecture, founded in 1259 by the prominent noble Vok of Rozmberk.
